Baltic Forest Products OÜ was founded in 2008 by Rainer Rehe. Starting off with plywood sales and exploring new markets was smooth due to the owner having had experience in Baltic Panel Group (Estonia’s leading plywood mill built in 2006) and in TVMK AS (parent company of Baltic Panel Group) as Sales Manager. Rainer Rehe has full competence in the plywood market segment and furniture components since 1998.
The founding of Baltic Forest Products OÜ was hereby a logical development in order to utilize the potential and benefit of a reliable supply channel and to meet the growing needs of customers all over the world.
Baltic Forest Products OÜ started off with sales of raw and coated plywood sheets in standard dimensions. Shortly after, the company began offering added value to the plywood products – cut to size and machined items of birch plywood.
Parallel to its already successful plywood business, Baltic Forest Products OÜ started to offer solid wood parts, machined furniture components such as table legs, chair parts, drawer components, etc. in 2009. Having profound knowledge in sourcing various types of processed timber via reliable saw-mills helped in rapid expansion of this new business endeavor.
In 2011, Baltic Forest Products OÜ set up its own factory for production of veneered table legs out of chipboard. In the same year the company also invested into several smaller furniture manufacturers in Estonia to complement its product range and continue development of solid wood furniture parts.
This was also the year when the company opened up a sales office in Germany. The sales representative there, Sven Schröder, has also been working in plywood industry for the past 20 years, thus his wide experience in the supply and sales will certainly come in handy.
Today, Baltic Forest Products OÜ is a highly valued supplier of furniture components to many industries: home and office furniture, packaging and parquet.
